プロンプト全文

1Photograph of a hand-painted enamel shop sign mounted on a weathered brick wall. The sign 2reads OPEN LATE in two lines, all caps, 3painted in cream on a deep bottle green field, with a thin gold keyline following the panel edge. 4Signwriter lettering with slight brush variation, 5correct spacing, no missing or duplicated letters. 6Straight-on view at 50 mm, overcast afternoon light, gentle specular sheen across the enamel, 7small chips at the corners revealing bare steel, shallow depth so the brick behind softens. Documentary colour, no filters. 8No other words, no logos, no reflections of the photographer, no watermark.

プロンプトの構造

以下の語句は、上のプロンプトにそのままの形で現れ、それぞれがひとつの要素を決めています。組み合わせを変え、置き換え、削りながら、自分用の版を作ってください。

  1. 01

Photograph of a hand-painted enamel shop sign

Text renders far more reliably when it lives on an object with a real surface than when it floats as graphic overlay. Give the words somewhere to be.

  2. 02

reads OPEN LATE in two lines, all caps

Short, capitalised, and broken into stated lines. Every one of those three choices raises the odds of correct letterforms.

  3. 03

painted in cream on a deep bottle green field

High contrast between letter and ground. Low-contrast lettering is where characters start dissolving into each other.

  4. 04

Signwriter lettering with slight brush variation

Names a craft rather than a font. Font names are unreliable; craft descriptions carry the same information more robustly.

  5. 05

correct spacing, no missing or duplicated letters

Blunt, and worth including. Duplicated and dropped characters are the two most common failures in generated lettering.

  6. 06

    Straight-on view at 50 mm

Perspective distortion warps letterforms. A square-on view at a normal lens keeps them readable.

  7. 07

small chips at the corners revealing bare steel

Age described as a specific mechanism, not as the word vintage. Mechanisms produce believable detail; adjectives produce mush.

  8. 08

    No other words, no logos

Without this, signs sprout invented street numbers, opening hours and brand marks in half-formed type.

このプロンプトについての質問

Why not just ask for text on a plain background?

Floating type has no physical constraints to hold it together, so strokes drift and characters double. Text on a painted sign, an embossed cover or a printed page inherits the object's geometry and comes out cleaner.

How long can the text be?

Two or three short words is the reliable range. Beyond that, expect to check every character, and expect to regenerate. Long copy belongs in a design tool, set over a generated background.

Can I use a specific brand typeface?

Not reliably, and reproducing a licensed typeface is a rights question of its own. Describe the letterform character instead, then reset the final artwork in the real font.
