El prompt completo
1High-impact video thumbnail background for a workshop about restoring old cameras. A single disassembled rangefinder camera on a dark walnut bench, 2body left of centre, lens elements and springs laid out in a neat row beside it. 3Hard directional key light from the upper right creating strong edge definition, 4deep shadows kept open enough to read on a phone, 5one saturated cyan practical glowing behind the bench for separation. Very high local contrast, punchy but not clipped, 6subject occupying the left 60 percent with the right side deliberately simple for a title overlay. Clean composition, no clutter, 7no small details that vanish at thumbnail size. 8No text, no arrows, no faces, no logos, no watermark.

Estructura del prompt
Cada frase de abajo aparece literalmente en el prompt anterior y controla una cosa. Combínelas, sustitúyalas o bórrelas para hacer su propia versión.
- 01
High-impact video thumbnail background
Background is the operative word. The thumbnail is finished in a design tool, so what you want from the generator is the plate underneath it.
- 02
body left of centre, lens elements and springs laid out in a neat row
Thumbnails are read in under a second. One subject with one obvious arrangement beats a rich scene every time.
- 03
Hard directional key light from the upper right creating strong edge definition
Soft light disappears at small sizes. Hard light gives edges that survive being 320 pixels wide in a feed.
- 04
deep shadows kept open enough to read on a phone
A constraint tied to the actual viewing device. Crushed blacks look great on a monitor and turn into a smudge on a phone in daylight.
- 05
one saturated cyan practical glowing behind the bench for separation
A colour accent that also does a structural job — it separates the subject from the background instead of merely decorating.
- 06
subject occupying the left 60 percent with the right side deliberately simple
Reserve the title space in the image rather than covering good pixels with a text box later.
- 07
no small details that vanish at thumbnail size
A direct instruction about the delivery size. Detail that cannot survive the crop is worse than no detail — it becomes noise.
- 08
No text, no arrows, no faces, no logos
Generated arrows and text in thumbnails look like clip art. Add those in the editor where you control them.
Preguntas sobre este prompt
Should I generate the thumbnail text as well?
No. Thumbnail text needs a specific typeface, a specific size and often a stroke or shadow to stay legible. Generate the background and set the type in a design tool.
Why does the prompt avoid faces?
Faces are the strongest element in any thumbnail, so most creators composite their own. If you do want a face, use the portrait or headshot brief and combine the two images.
How do I check it will work at small size?
Shrink the result to about 320 pixels wide and look at it on a phone. If the subject is still instantly readable and the right side is still clean, it works.
